Greg Barns SC & Dr Amanda-Jane George on The Chris Smith Show - 11 June 2024

 GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Greg Barns SC graduated BA LLB from Monash University in 1984. He was a member of the Victorian Bar where he practiced in criminal law from 1986-89 and has been a member of the Tasmanian Bar since 2003. He is also a member of the Victorian, Western Australian and New Zealand Bars. Greg was chief of staff and senior adviser to a number of federal and state Liberal Party leaders and ministers from 1989-99.

 

 GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Dr Amanda-Jane George is the Postgraduate Research Coordinator for the School of Business and Law, and the Research Coordinator for the College of Law. She brings commercial law experience from her career at several major Brisbane law firms, where she practised in intellectual property law, technology licensing, competition law, and commercial contract law issues.
